Conference 'Risk meets Crisis' succesful

On May 21st and 22nd the Interreg IIIb projects Safecoast and Chain of Safety organized a successful joint final conference with the theme ‘Risk meets crisis’. This was the first time an international group op risk managers and crisis managers came together on the topic of coastal flooding.
 
 
 
The first day keynote speakers presented there view what these European projects have done within these region.
With the main outcomes of the projects a discussion was started to bring the two worlds of risk and crisis management together and to get a common understanding.
 
 
The second day gave more focus to the three items ‘Risk management’, ‘Crisis management’ and ‘Risk meets Crisis’ in parallel sessions.
