Nature Conservation Act
The first nature conservation act was presented in 1917 and made it possible to conserve valuable areas in the coastal zone while securing public access to the beaches.
This act shows that as early as a century ago, there was a concern for landscape values and a awareness of the importance of these values for people's recreation.
