Master Plan Schleswig - Holstein
The storm surge of 1962 brought new insights on wave characteristics.
From the investigations done, the Master Plan on coastal protection in Schleswig-Holstein originated in 1963 (MELF S.H. 1963).
This plan was only valid to the year 2000. A new Master Plan for coastal protection for Schleswig-Holstein was elaborated in December 2001 by the federal state government.
